Queenstown (South Island)

12th of Dec 10:
Queenstown is situated on the South West of the South island. It is a big version of Wanaka and offers a mountain of activities. Being the 1st place of bungy jumping, it's one of the busiest destinations in NZ.
We followed Cardrona river from Wanaka to Queenstown. The colour was amazing!

On the road we stopped at Gibbston Valley a winery & cheesery.

Queenstown!!!

After 2 weeks of eating like birds, we indulged on 2 huge Queenstown style burgers... Yummy Yummy !!

... and dessert of course :-)

Looking strong for the "Loop track" that takes you on the top of a mountain overlooking Queenstown and the lake.

 Half way to the top.

After 1 hour, finally we reached the top! Again the view was unbelievable.

Our friend Pedro that we met by coincidence in Queenstown :-)
